How to Use a Jewellery Polishing Cloth
You're holding the Buhron jewellery polishing cloth. This page (instructions below) walks you through exactly how to use it, the right way, on the right pieces, in the right order. Follow the steps once and you'll have it.
Step 1. Polishing Cloth (impregnated with our formula).
This pink cloth removes the fine scratches from your Jewellery. It turns black when you use it, this is normal and means it's effective. Polish in different directions, and adjust your pressure depending on the condition of your object. For some objects it's easier to rub the object on the cloth whilst on a flat surface (as shown in video guide). More scratches = more pressure. This step is crucial. Leave the leftover polish on for the next cloth.
Step 2. Microfibre Cloth.
Buff the remaining polish to a high gloss. Especially important for softer metals like silver, gold, copper and brass. Enhances the gloss to a mirror shine.
Step 3. Rinse
If you can, rinse your metal with some water and soap and dry with a soft towel.
Repeat steps in same order as needed.

Do not use on brushed or satin finishes, or on thinly plated items.

What Buhron Metal Polishing Cloths works on
Fine surface scratches and lost mirror finish on solid polished metal. If the surface used to shine and now it doesn't, this is for that. Use it to polish silver jewellery, gold jewellery, and most solid polished metals back to a mirror finish.
